Help Us

There are a few specific things we'd like help with at the moment:

More 'domestiques' - people committed to a route,time and day

By pledging to ride a route regularly you can guarantee that other people turning up will have someone to ride with. In the future we will need people for more routes, or the same routes, but at different times. If you can do this, contact us and let us know.

You should be a confident, experienced rider to take on this role.

Real time route info

We'd like to track the bike bus as it makes its journey, so that people with mobile phones and/or the internet could be notified. Maybe you have the technical skills to do this or maybe you could sponsor us to achieve this.

Promotion and publicity

We've already had lots of good feedback and ideas of people and places to tell about the service. (Thank you those of you that are already doing this!) If you think you can help promote the Aire Valley Bike Bus in the district then get in touch.

Display a poster

We now have a poster that you can download and pin up wherever you like. Please feel free to distribute them. See the downloads page.

In the future

We'd like to see the bike bus:

• operating on more days of the week
• running more services each day (e.g. at 30min intervals)
• on more routes around the city
• provide real time route info via satellite tracking
